BOHEMIA, NY – January 2021 -- North Atlantic Industries, Inc. (NAI), a leading supplier of embedded computing solutions and power supplies, announced that it is to expand its presence in Long Island, New York with a new facility and global headquarters. Preparation is now under way to move to a 90,000 sq. ft. facility located in Bohemia, NY with plans to occupy in June 2021.
The new 90,000 sq. ft. facility is a significant upgrade from the current 50,000 sq. ft. operations NAI has now. The new facility will bring together NAI's engineering, production, test & quality and assembly & manufacturing operations under one roof with sales & marketing, HR, IT and the leadership team. NAI has built a reputation for supporting the world’s most demanding defense, commercial aerospace and industrial applications. The larger facility will turbocharge new product development efforts that have already thrust NAI’s Configurable Open Systems Architecture (COSA®) product line into the national spotlight. Most of the big aerospace and military integrators have strategic initiatives to better utilize off-the-shelf solutions. As a result, the design engineers of their rugged vehicles or platforms have found NAI’s COSA® offers them the perfect balance: a compact, rugged design with off-the-shelf readiness and adaptability.
“Our uniquely modular approach has caught the attention of industry leaders,” said Leo Fridley, CFO. “Now with the space to add resources, our customers will be amazed at the breadth and scale of problems that can be solved with our versatile COSA® approach.”
NAI’s growth also sees the company looking for bright, motivated individuals – including qualified undergraduate and graduate student interns – to join our team, contribute new ideas and thrive in our fast-paced, tech-focused environment.
