The innovative solution honored by Military & Aerospace Electronics and Intelligent Aerospace is the SIU36 3U OpenVPX Sensor Interface Unit as a platinum-level winner in the publications' 2020 Innovators Awards.
The SIU36 leverages NAI’s 3U OpenVPX boards to deliver off-the-shelf solutions that accelerate deployment of size, weight, and power consumption (SWaP)-optimized systems in military air, land, and sea applications.
The SIU36 features six 3U OpenVPX card slots; support for as many as 18 I/O and communication smart functions; more than 70 modules to choose from; with embedded computing support for Freescale PowerPC QorIQ T2080, Intel Core i7, or ARM Cortex-A53.
