SC1
4 Serial Communication Channels, multi-mode programmable, non-isolated
  • No. of Channels: 4 high-speed, fully programable RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, RS-423 (w/ MIL-STD-188C unbalanced support), non-isolated channels.
  • Data Rate (per channel unless otherwise specified): 10 (5) Mbps: SYNC/HDLC (if Manchester encoded), RS-422/485, 1.5 Mbps: ASYNC, RS-422/485 250 Kbps: RS-232/423 or MIL-STD-188C unbalanced. Data rate will be within 1% of commanded rate. Data can be read 4 µs after receipt in UART. These data rates are verified with all channels running simultaneously.
  • Data Transfer: Data transfers within 300 ns; no latency issues.
  • Receive/Transmit Bufers: Configurable Receive and Transmit buffers (up to 32 MB, aggregate). Accessed in 16-bit mode only.

SC3
8 Serial Communication Channels, programmable RS-232/422/485 non-isolated
    • No. of Channels: 8 high-speed, programmable RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, non-isolated. Each channel is programmable for either Serial Communications (SC) protocol or General Purpose I/O (GPIO) modes as either RS-422, RS-485 (differential) or RS-232 (single ended) hardware level interfaces. Each channel has one Tx and one Rx signal pair (±) available as applicable.
    • Data Rate (SC Mode): RS422 and RS-485:1.5 Mbit/s for each channel in asynchronous differential mode (burst). RS-232: 250 KB/s. Data rate will be within 1% of commanded rate. Data can be read 4 µs after receipt in UART (typical bus transfer). These data rates are verified with all channels running simultaneously.
    • Data Transfer (SC Mode): Data transfers within 300 ns, no latency issues.
    • Receive/Transmit Bufers (SC Mode): 1MB x 16 Receive and Transmit buffers.

SC5
4 Serial Communication Channels, Programmable RS-232/422/485, Isolated
  • No. of Channels: 4 high-speed, programmable RS-232/422/485, independently isolated. Each channel has one Tx, Rx and CLK (or General-purpose Output) signal pair (±) including an Isolated GND/Return reference.
  • Data Rate: RS422 and RS-485:1.5 Mb/s for each channel in asynchronous, or 10 Mb/s synchronous, differential mode (burst); RS-232: 250 Kb/s. Data rate will be within1% of commanded rate. Data can be read 4 μs after receipt in UART (typical bus transfer). These data rates are verified with all channels running simultaneously.
  • Data Transfer: Data transfers within (2) baud clocks for ASYNC communications, (15) for SYNC communications
  • Receive/Transmit Bufers: 1MB Receive and Transmit buffers, per channel

SC6
4 Serial Communication Channels, Programmable RS-232/422/485, Non-Isolated
  • No. of Channels: 4 high-speed, programmable RS-232/422/485, independently non-isolated. Each channel has one Tx, Rx and CLK (or General-purpose Output) signal pair (±) including a dedicated common non-isolated SYS-GND/Return reference.
  • Data Transfer: Data transfers within (2) baud clocks for ASYNC communications; (15) baud clocks for SYNC communications.
  • Receive/Transmit Bufers: 1MB Receive and Transmit buffers, per channel
