Summary:

A PCB Layout Designer will assist engineers in the design and development of complex, detailed layouts of printed circuit boards. In this position, the Layout Designer will be responsible for creating multilayer high-density printed circuit board designs using PCB Layout Tools, per Electrical and Mechanical Engineering input. The fabrication drawing package will be created per IPC and/or Mil spec.

Requirements

• Performs detailed layout design and documentation of printed circuit boards.
• Produces two-dimensional (2D) CAD work product output for fabrication and assembly.
• Works from schematics, net lists, part lists, and basic description of the board function, constraints, configuration, and arrangement as defined by engineering.
• Checks drawings versus the project input for correctness and conformance to standard engineering drafting practices and standards.
• Create electronic library symbols, geometry, footprints etc.
• Work with system management including file maintenance, backup and storage.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline or a minimum of three years’ experience preferred.
• Signal Integrity analysis experience helpful.
• Experience working with Allegro.

Production Operator is responsible for working with computers to process daily production. Production Operator must be able to follow instructions and pay attention to detail. Creating and maintaining a clean work environment is crucial to the overall quality of our products. Production Operators are required to have flexibility to train and move between functional areas. Leadership:

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Proven experience in solving packaging challenges for printed board assembly designs in demanding ground and aerospace environments.
• Demonstrated CAD proficiency, particularly in Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks and ASMEY14.5-2018 and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) standards.
• Demonstrated knowledge of strength of materials, vibration, and fatigue. Ability to analyze and understand results and implement design changes to improve structural performance of electronic systems. This includes proficiency in FEA software, particularly ANSYS Mechanical, to perform modal, random vibration, shock, and other structural analyses.
• Demonstrated knowledge of heat transfer mechanisms and principles to analyze, understand results and implement design changes to improve thermal performance of electronic systems. This includes familiarity in Autodesk CFD software package or similar, to perform conduction and convection thermal analyses.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a work environment with shifting priorities.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.

Summary:

The Production Operator works in an electronics manufacturing environment assembling printed circuit boards (PCBs). This role involves using computers and equipment to perform daily production tasks. Summary:

Working with senior design staff, you will be assisting in solving major and complex engineering problems in one or more phases of a developmental project involving analysis, research design, Hardware circuit design, board bring up, development, fabrication and / or testing of a device or system. Summary:

Software Engineer I is responsible for assisting the development team with all aspects of software design and coding that align with the overall goals of our business. • Determine product technical strengths and weaknesses vs. competition in design-in contests.
• Communicate internally, product challenges and customer specific requirements for the purpose of resolution.

Major Activities and Tasks

• Recommendation of specific products based upon the prospect’s application and environmental requirements.
• Identification of customer specific requirements and/or preferences as part of design-in selection.
• Consultation with prospects concerning the appropriate utilization of the company’s products.
• Participation in “troubleshooting” activities for the purpose of determining hardware and/or software problems which could inhibit successful design-in of the company’s products.
• Coordinate technical support for purposes of overcoming design-in difficulties.
• Become familiar with the company’s new products and ensure documentation is current.
• Generate technical design-in status reports.
• Document special customer requirements and/or application utilization needs.
• Attend training courses on new products.
• Inform the account sales person of any competitive information or product difficulties learned from prospects in the design-in process.
• Remain in contact with the customer to ensure continued technical satisfaction with the product(s) chosen for the specific project or program.

Qualifications

• BSEE / BSET or a four year degree in a technical discipline required.
• Some knowledge of embedded Bus architectures (VME, CPCI, etc.), Processors and/or related products a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in a technical support role desired.

Language Skills

• Outstanding communication skills both verbally and written.

Other Skills and Abilities

• Good organizational skills and strong time management skills.
• Ability to work independently toward focused goals.
• Familiarity with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power point)

Summary:

The Qualification Test Technician possesses knowledge of industry test standards and the associated environmental and electromagnetic interference methods. They are responsible for testing, data collection, and communication of data to the engineering staff and management.

Requirements

• Supervise outside laboratory tests.
• Plan and conduct test methods in accordance with military and commercial standards for confidence.
• Ensure proper operation of test equipment to adhere to company procedures.
• Collect data in an organized manner that can be presented to customers and management.
• Assist in creating cable test harnesses and support equipment.
• Work with engineering staff to assist in diagnosis and repair of failed production items.
• Perform ESS testing on overflow production items.

Qualifications

• ASEE or ASME preferred.
• 0 - 4 years related experience in a Test environment.
• Proficient in use of a computer and Microsoft Office Applications.
• Basic understanding of Military and Commercial standards (I.E. MIL-STD-461/ 810 or RTCA/DO-160G)

• Must have good oral and written communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, and possess a high degree of curiosity and desire to learn new things.
• Ability to take initiative and multi-task within a fast-paced environment.

Other Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of general purpose test equipment and automated systems.
• Working knowledge of wiring and general purpose hand-tools.
