A leading manufacturer of precision motion control products and systems for satellites, industrial machinery, wind energy, marine applications, and medical equipment requires high accuracy measurement instruments during their manufacturing and test process. As their end products are high-precision devices themselves, it is critical that the instruments they use for quality control and testing offer extremely high accuracy and resolution. They turned to NAI's High Accuracy Angle Position Indicator (Model 8810A) to provide measurement of their devices to 0.0001° resolution and 0.004° accuracy. This instrument allows for both manual and automated readings. In this case, the manufacturer used the automated method where measurement readings are through a computer.
